Candidates must adhere to the instructions given in order to be admitted to the KC Group of Institutions in Punjab.

• The candidate for counselling must fulfil the prerequisites established by the institute.
• 15% of the seats will be open to candidates from outside the province, with 85% of the seats open to candidates having Punjabi origin.
• The candidate's admission to the KC Group of Institutions will be decided using the merit list made for candidates in the general, reserved, and subcategories.
• The candidates on the merit list would be ranked according to the following criteria:
• In the order of merit, the applicant who obtained the greatest overall percentage of points on the qualifying exam will be positioned higher.
• The candidate who is older will be ranked higher in the order of merit if there is a tie.
• For 15% of the seats open to candidates from outside the state and 85% of the seats open to applicants with Punjabi ancestry, simultaneous counselling will be employed.
